Linda Sarsour, Mehdi Hasan, Ilhan Omar – these are all prominent Sanders surrogates with a pronounced track road of supporting the Al Qaeda narrative against Syria!

They all oppose the Syrian government’s very real struggle against Al Qaeda militants in Idlib.

For years, Ilhan has been commemorating a violent, fascist and sectarian Muslim Brotherhood insurgency that has devastated Syria.

As per Ilhan and others, the destructive war being waged by transnational Al Qaeda affiliates in Syria is a “peaceful revolution”.

Just to be clear, this revolution called for a genocide of Syria’s Christian and Alawite faith communities. It also called for the forceful implementation of a Salafist Caliphate.

Those like Tulsi Gabbard who have called for a reexamination of the US policy of indirectly supporting Al Qaeda factions in Syria have been smeared and slandered relentlessly. And those doing the slandering are surrogates like Linda and Mehdi.

Bernie could not even stand up for Tulsi who sacrificed her career for him. How will he stand up for visions like M4A and Free college?

It is imperative for Bernie to distance from these Faux-Progressives or risk dilution in confidence of his good domestic policies as well.
